Becoming an ASABE Member automatically makes you a member of the ASABE Quad
City Section if your mailing address is within the Section boundaries of the
Illinois and Iowa counties in the Quad City area. No additional dues or
applications are required. The Quad City Section provides additional benefits
during its program year including:

local Section meetings (October, January and March) including technical
sessions, a social hour, a buffet meal and a general interest after-dinner
presentation
- a Continuing Education Seminar on a technical subject
(February)
- a tour of a local manufacturing facility (April)
- support of Agricultural Machinery Conference held annually
in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (May)
- three newsletters to provide communications on all the
above activities
- opportunity to network with fellow engineering
professionals
- support and networking opportunities for young
professionals
- recognition of membership longevity and patents
- nomination of Section members for ASABE national awards
- recognition of Section members through Young Member of
the Year, Member of the Year and Outstanding Engineering Achievement
Awards
- support of college scholarships for students entering a
field of study related to ASABE
- support of local FIRST robotics team consisting of local
engineers and high school students
